My sound is not working so I heard only silence.

First, I put some large studio headphones on, sat down, calmed myself a bit as if preparing for a sit, and then hit play. Just in case this was some kind of “trick” and there was sound, I wanted to be prepared. Immediately I heard a low, incessant hum, which I thought could be some sound emanating from the computer. But I only fooled myself with all the preparations, because after about a minute I realized the hum was from a distant airplane flying overhead – muffled by the headphones – and not from the computer at all.

After that the siren song of the world wide web sitting directly in front of my face became too great, and I cut the concert short by opening a new window ;)

I hit the “play” button and cleared my head of my expectations, well at least I tried to. But I did hear lots of white noise, probably radiating from my head, and eventually heard a car going by. Other interesting sounds occurred, such as the gardeners banging something from across the street, and the droning of something flying overhead. Eventually I heard the loud snore of my dog, dozing at my feet, which woke me up. Not sure how long I listened, was in some space somewhere.
